Josh offers private lessons for all levels and genres of guitar, as well as for beginning electric bass, ukulele, piano and voice. Students can expect to gain an understanding of how to recognize and perform a variety of rhythms, melodies and harmonies from across musical worlds. Lesson can be catered towards a student's specific area of interest. ​ Josh also holds a BA in Music Performance from San Francisco State University studying with Bay Area luminaries such as Dr. John Calloway, Hafez Modirzadeh and guitarist Jim Witzel. He has also studied with W.A. Matthieu, whose works 'The Harmonic Experience' and 'The Listening Book' are profound influences. ​ Lessons are offered in person or virtually.
